Welcome to Πάλάίο Prelection

Here's to the beginning of what will hopefully become a popular blog for paleontology enthusiast! Just to start off, here's a brief explanation of what paleontology really is (since I get asked that question a lot!) :

paleontology (n) :

1 ) The study of the forms of life existing in prehistoric or geologic times, as represented by the fossils of plants, animals, and other organisms. 2) The earth science that studies fossil organisms and related remains.
